У США представили круїзний лайнер з "килимом-літаком"

Компанія Royal Caribbean Cruises представила круїзний лайнер Celebrity Edge з "килимом-літаком" на борту (Magic Carpet) - пересувною платформою, яка переміщується по різних палубах судна

Крита платформа може використовуватися як ресторан на одній з палуб лайнера, розрахований на 90 осіб. На іншій палубі "килим-літак" перетворюється в зону відпочинку поруч з басейном, пише Depo.ua з посиланням на Daily Mail.

Платформа також може виконувати роль своєрідного ліфта - її спускають на воду, а потім піднімають на борт з прибулими до лайнера на більш дрібних суднах пасажирами. Корабель розрахований майже на три тисячі мандрівників.

Він базуватиметься в місті Форт-Лодердейл (Флорида, США). Перший круїз Celebrity Edge запланований на 16 грудня 2018 року.

Celebrity Edge will homeport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, making her first sailing on 16 December 2018

Other features on board the ship include suites located right above the ship's bridge, a rooftop garden (pictured) tended daily by a resident horticulturist, king-size cashmere mattresses in some of the rooms and personal butlers for guests who splash out the most
